L and I did this project together a few days ago, and these heart-shaped suncatchers have totally helped to brighten my mood during this cold and snowy week.

They are made by simply cutting heart shapes from coffee filters and painting them with watercolors. Linden did a really good job of painting a few hearts before generally smushing the paint around with her fingers.

These would be pretty as a garland strung onto twine, or pasted or taped onto cardstock for Valentines. We hung them in one of the front windows and by our breakfast nook so that we get a dose of cheer whenever we look out at the snowy yard.
